SistertoSister needed a small, informational site quickly. They were able to show me a layout that they wanted, and I created the site from scratch based on the look out of the layout.
OneCorpFX needed a website that would be on par with their competition, and capable of servicing their customers online.
This website needed to have live stock quotes, updated through AJAX, a set of customer account application forms, and a full customer database to keep track of customers.
In addition, they needed to be able to print large amount of customer data for hard copies, which required creating dynamic PDF documents.
HoboSkate's website was based off a template they provided. The template had been made completely using tables, which created a fix size limit on columns and rows, as well as made it difficult to edit, with many levels of tables inside tables.
I redid the website from scratch, using screenshots of the old template as image backgrounds for the new format to achieve the same look.
The clients also wanted music playing across all pages- without pauses. I found a flash music client that worked, and was able to continue playing, but it of course started back up after each page load. I was able to "fix" this by making the main page an iframe with the flash player on it, and loading the content pages in the iframe.
The old website had been created with an unknown program, which had created an enormous amount of code for each page, which made "updating" without the program difficult for employees.
I updated the website with a newer look, used drop-down navigation to organize the site layout, and used php to template out the site.
This website just needed to be done quickly, and to get the information and contact out as soon as possible. I had made the color scheme based off of their business cards.
Aqualastic needed a one page informational site that had an updated style. I had used niftycube to create quick rounded corners.
I had wanted to develop my own scheduling program since I started using acunote, and finally had a chance to implement it.
The main objectives were to have something I could quickly jot down notes/tasks, and optionally assign them importance values and due dates.
The largest difference between this and other management software I've used is I've created a hierarchical structure for the subjects the notes belong to.
For instance, I could have a task "finish particle system on 3d engine", with the subject assigned to it being Programming->Game Engine->Graphics system. So I can look at all my tasks under the game engine, or micro manage on each individual category.
The version is only in 1.0a - it functions, and their are no major bugs, but extra features need to be added to improve the speed of the interface, and a non test style needs to be implemented
I had created this website while working at Turbulin. The clients were not able to be contacted regularly, but I designed the website based off his initial requirements. This was the 7th revision of the site, as the clients specifications changed throughout the work.
All the revisions turned out good, and it gave me a chance to work the same site over with many different designs, and to convince me to always create mock-ups before any coding starts.
Patagonia honey makes the most fragrant orange blossom honey, and I wanted to show my appreciation by giving their website an updated look.
I based the website off of the style they use on their honey containers, and some of the feel from their previous website.
